Fascinating animals and as animals are, rather straightforward. If they detect something edible in the water, it's down to survival of the fittest. This series was shot on three occasions on two different beaches and consists mainly of ICMs to register their dynamics.
Couldn't help it, this one was about to fly right over me. Saw it coming. Angel-like being. Single shot.

Back light often makes things complicated for an image, here I was helped by white foam on the waves that formed light trails in the painted sea.
